Tools of the Trade - Clips

Once a pattern is completed, you need a method of closing off the pattern so it does not unravel. The quickest and easy method of finishing off your piece of jewelry is by using a Clip. The Clip is the final piece you add to your pattern. Different manufacturers create different types or styles of clips. They usually include some clips with their loom kits or with their rubber bands. Most clips are made of a hard plastic with very little give. Some manufacturers are producing their clips from a more softer plastic which can bend more.

Running out of clips? There are alternatives to using "C-Clips", "S-Clips" or "O-Clips".

NOTE: On most of the videos you will find on our site, we will be using "C" Clips.
